Port Angeles is 30 minutes away, making it a quick hop if you're yearning for a bit more civilization. This is also an excellent place to overnight before jumping on the ferry to Victoria. Sites 1-5 are the best hookup sites, as they are a little away from the main area, and a bit more shaded.

Why pack up and move multiple times? The Elwha Dam RV Park, 10 minutes from Port Angeles and the Victoria, B.C. Ferry, is the best base camp for exploring the Olympic Peninsula. You can visit Port Townsend, Forks, Sequim, Cape Flattery, as well as enjoy the Olympic National Park and Scenic Highway attractions, all from one central location.

Full Hookup Campground Port Angeles City

We're open all year with 51 full hookups, a guest house, cabin and 2.5 separate acres for tenters. We have newer modern restrooms, large laundry facilities, ac community room, and outdoor cabana area.

David and Chris manage the RV park with their family who are caring people and eager to serve. They say it still feels like yesterday when they searched over a year to find the perfect park. They say, 'It was hard to find a place that has the best of all worlds, but here at the Elwha it seems we do: It has a peaceful healing vibe, with majesty all around: the mountain peaks that stand in the distance; the splendor of the forest, lakes, and waterfalls; the Straight of Juan De Fuca and ocean experience 5 minutes away; a Victoria, BC international experience just a boat ride away; plus a community of service that suits a families needs. Port Angeles truly is a unique place.'

Although the dams have been removed, they have kept the name. They agree with the previous owner, that 'It will always be the site of the old dam, so it will still be ‘The Best RV Park by a Dam Site',” deserving of the 10 consecutive Best of Port Angeles Awards in the Recreational Vehicle Parks qualifying for Port Angeles Business Hall of Fame. Be sure and check out the information page on the Elwha Dam history and its removal.

You'll find this park conveniently located just off of Scenic Highway 112, by the beautiful Elwha River Canyon and former Dam site. It's a most peaceful setting in the woods, convenient to fishing, boating and beachcombing on the North Olympic Coast, as well as hiking and biking trails in the Olympic National Park. Come join us for a night, or a longer visit, and see why the Elwha Dam R.V. Park is such a great place to stay. We're proud of our park, and proud of the recognition and awards we're getting.
